Miguel Carrero Pazos (PhD Candidate, USC): Degree in History (University of Santiago de Compostela, 2012), and MA in Archaeology and Territory (University of Granada, 2012). He is currently combining the development of his doctoral thesis where focuses on the application of mathematical and spatial analysis for the study of Galician megalithic complex, with researches on the application of computer tools for the study and 3D representation of rock art engravings (megalithic and bronze age rock art).

Rebeca Cordeiro Macenlle (PhD Candidate, USC): Graduated in History (2012) and Masters in Arqueoloxía e Ciencias da Antigüidade (2013) at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Currently she is making her thesis about Roman Political Theory during the Late Republic.

Mikel Díaz Rodríguez (PhD Candidate, USC): Graduated in History (2013) and Masters in Archaeology (2014) at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). Currently, he combines the completion of his doctoral thesis with different activities and research within the framework of GEPN. His work revolves around the application of GIS technologies to study the Paleolithic in the Northwest of Iberian Peninsula.

Alba Antía Rodríguez Nóvoa (PhD Candidate, USC): degree in History (2013) and Masters in Archaeology (2014) at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). Currently, she combines the completion of her doctoral thesis with different activities and research within the framework of GEPN. Her work revolves around the pottery of the Minho district from the Iron Age.

Alia Vázquez Martínez (PhD Candidate, USC): Graduated in History of Art (2012) and Masters in Arqueoloxía e Ciencias da Antigüidade (2013) at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Currently she makes her thesis about open-air rock art in the NW.

Benito Vilas Estévez (MA Student, University of Wales Trinity Saint David): Graduated in History by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Spain, in 2010, with minors in Archaeology, Ancient History and Prehistory. He studied at the University of Nova de Lisboa (Portugal) for one year in 2009/2010. He started a MA in 2012 at the Univeristy of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology, and in 2014/ 2015 he got a MA in Arqueoloxía e Ciencias da Antigüedade at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. His master dissertations are about megalithic astronomy but from different perspectives.

The Organizing Committee of EINIACA16 is constituted by a heterogeneous group of students on PhD stage that aim to promote and boost the studies of young researches in the fields of Archaeology, Prehistory and Ancient history.
